The Achenseebahn celebrates its 125th birthday this year. An attractive festive programme for young and old will take place at Jenbach station over Whitsun. The 4 steam locomotives with their wagons from the Wilhelminian period still carry the total load of traffic today. This is only possible because locomotives and cars are carefully maintained and serviced by the staff every year. Nevertheless, a considerable financial effort is required to maintain the historical rolling stock, which is a challenge for the company every year.
