The underground journey of the legendary, mysterious underground wonder world begins with the 68m long miners' slide (longest in Europe - also possible via the stairs or lift).
There the visitor first walks and then drives through the tunnels on a real mine railway - the only one in Carinthia. Deep inside the earth the visitor sees fascinating, mystical shows, consisting of light and sound stagings with water and smoke effects, over the origin of the earth up to the healing powers of nature.
The only shaft lift in Austria that is accessible to visitors takes you to the historical-scientific part of the adjacent mining museum with 700 years of mining history, the oldest miners' flag in the world and the funny caricature museum Terra Humoristika. The entire mine has a thermal tunnel climate (constant 9 degrees Celsius) to clear the airways. As an extra offer for children there is also the possibility of a treasure hunt (for an extra charge), where the little adventurers can find semi-precious stones in a labyrinth of galleries, equipped with a torch, and take them home.
