The Karwendelcamp Scharnitz is a small, family campsite that was newly built in 2008. The municipality of Scharnitz is idyllically situated in the Olympiaregion Seefeld, about 25km from Innsbruck and 100km from Munich. In summer, the largest nature reserve in the Northern Limestone Alps, the Karwendel Alpine Park and the Olympiaregion Seefeld offer you countless leisure and sports activities. Visit us and experience the Alpine Park on foot, by bike or simply paddle along the wild and romantic upper Isar river in a kayak. The cross-country skiing trails of the Olympic region can be easily reached on foot in two minutes. The 266km of perfectly groomed trails once again achieved 1st place in the major ADAC cross-country ski area test in 2009.
