Riding farm Ferner

Currently 24 horses live on our farm: 21 Haflinger and 3 Shetland ponies. For more than 35 years we have been breeding Haflinger horses, which are distinguished above all by their good-natured and child-friendly character.

All our horses are born at our farm, we accompany them from the very beginning and know them very well, which is very important to us. We want to enable our horses to live as species-appropriate a life as possible in a herd. Our young horses spend their summers together with our "pensioners" on the alpine pastures and thus develop into robust horses that are safe off-road.

Our horses in the riding establishment also receive daily paddock access and regular alpine pasture holidays as compensation for their everyday life as riding horses. All our horses spend the autumn months completely on alpine pastures until they return to the farm with the onset of winter. This guarantees them a diversified life.
